Handbrake cable??
Help .
My 94 has failed its annual MOT ( from UK) because the rear rh side ( passenger) parking brake
cable parted on the inspection!!. I am UNABLE to trace a spare one as they are no longer available from GM or any GM partdirect etc dealer.
Can anyone help as to where I might pick one up online and get shipped to UK?

I had an older vehicle several years ago that had a broken parking brake cable. It was old enough that very few parts were available for it. I found a company in Washington state (sorry, can't remember the name) that would duplicate any cable. I sent them the old one and they sent me a brand new one for around $75. Might be able to find them doing a web search.

just to let you know that the ONLY place I could actually get the rear cables ( lots of places list them but when you actually order they suddenly become "out of stock" ) was with Rockauto.com and they are being shipped as we speak. Great people to deal with, I wish all suppliers were as friendly.
