PC computer program
does anyone have a PC compatible program for monitoring the ECM computer in a 1992 LT-1, i had heard that there was such a program.

ease sim is also pretty good, but more expensive. http://www.easesim.com .. they have some really neat products too.

Your 92 LT-1 is an OBD1 vehicle. There are many PC based scan tools available for OBDI vehicles like yours. Check out the following sites:
1) Ease Simulations at http://www.easesim.com
2) Diacom at http:/www.rinda.com
3) Do-it-yourselfer EFI page at http://www.diy-efi.org/
4) TTS Datamaster at http://www.ttspowersystems.com/
I think you will find that the Ease scan tool is superior to all of the above for OBD1. It is cheaper than Diacom, works with Win 95/98/200 and NT 4.0. The TTS Datamaster is an interesting tool at a decent price, but if you read carefully, it costs $40 more to scan vehicle types other than your 92 LT-1. Datamaster doesn't even have the software available yet to scan 1994-95 LT-1 Corvettes or Camaros. (See their page) The Ease OBD1 tool will scan ALL GM OBD1 vehicles (1982 - 1995) right out of the box for one price.
