I did the seafoam thing today, through the brake booster line. I was kind of dissapointed. I wanted to see a bunch of smoke; barely a poof. I waited to resart it for about 45 min., eventhough it said to wait 5. I know that means my engine is probably pretty clean (which is really cool). I didn't notice a difference in the drivability or performance, but there was nothing wrong in the first place.
I also ohmed my injectors while hot (ouch). They were all between 17.7-17.9. I guess thats good. They were the same cold.
Oh yeah, when I did my TB bypass I just stretched the outlet side to the water pump, and didn't even need the hose or clamps that I bought. I am hoping this takes care of my occasional stumble when the vette is hot. I will also be going back to the stock air cleaner set-up instead of the K&N cone filter. This might also help my stumble while hot condition.
I plan on lowering front/rear on wednesday. Real low
Your injector #s sound good. About SeaFoam (been using it for years) even though it didn't smoke alot, although why you waited so long is beyond me, it does alot of things you can't see...that are good. You did put some in the gas tank, right? I never put it in the oil, goes against my nature.

I waited 45 min. because I read a post that said, the longer you wait the more it cleans.
Do I pour it in the gas tank(1/3), and 1/3 in the valve cover?

Years ago a friend introduced me to SeaFoam, and I've always followed his directions...1/2 in gas tank, 1/2 through vac. line (I use the brake booster..easier for me), I don't wait or hesitate..I do it all at once, keeping RPMs up to about 1500-1800, has always worked for me!
I uer it as a top end & injector cleaner. (As described) I only put in the oil on headgasket jobs, then change the oil after a 20 min run in.(It contains some isepropyl to clean up leftover water)

I think we were having the same problem, see my long update today. Pull your PVC valve out of the valve cover when it is running and hot, and see if it is smoking. Ed
