just got Sirus in my 95, it allso is on the dash and cuts out alot..... I Hope some one comes up with a really good idea...

I read in some past posts that you use double stick tape to post the antenna for the Sirius radio on the car. Where is the best spot, and, is there a great double stick tape that is waterproof?? Inside the window, on the dash, is just not cutting it!!!

I have no reception problems with mine next to the defrost vent.
If you are going to use double sided tape for another location, don't use the stuff for carpet/flooring.
I used velcro stickers on mine.

just the bottom... I took three 1/2" strips and stuck them to the bottom of the antenna, trimmed the tape to match the shape of the antenna and stuck it in the center. I ran the wire under the weatherstrip and into the halo cover.
