Default loose connection to maf

hi there,
i have a problem with the connector plug that plugs into the maf.
its all clicking in ok and when in doesnt give any play(with a wiggle), but it seems the female plug on the wiring loom is not connecting to the male on the maf properly.
ive tried to push the female metal connectors in, which works for a couple of days...... but then the code 36 is up again and i have to do the same thing all over to get rid of the code.
ive checked an re-checked all relays volts etc etc..... so i know it has to be this connection that is giving me the code 36.
i guess my question is....... is there anything i can do to make the metal pins and sockets touch..... permanently (until i have to remove it of course)
any help is much appreciated.... and new loom is out of the question (too expensive here)

thanks

I've heard of guys squeezing the pins(with vise grips, or pliers) trying to flatten them for a tighter fit..seems to have worked for them.

On mine when I had this problem I pushed the pins closer together in the harness with a pick or small screw driver. This gave the desired result but you could also add a little dialectic grease that could aid in the contact a little more. Really just a shot in the dark as I did not have to do this but it might be of some help. Good luck!
