coming home from work and a cobra pulls up beside me. we look at each other and right away its on. leave light , my vette pulls him like 1 1/2 off the line all of a sudden car wont shift out of 1st. I ease up pass half throttle and go back in , by then he`s gain 1 link back, go from 2nd to drive wont shift, so i get back out of it again, now the little cobra coming by me. I finally get to drive but by now he passed me. I was one sick puppy.
question? can anyone tell me why my trans. would not shift? loss is a loss.
Re: got pulled on by 2000 mustang cobra. "sick"!!!! (ICANTDR55)
mine did it because of two things...one it needed a new trans filter. and the other, it had TOO MUCH tranny fluid in it....too much pressure i think is what they told me??? does this sound right? a week after i had the filter changed, i had been healed :blueangel: give that a try, and if you do it yourself, might as well put a shift kit in it :smash:
Re: got pulled on by 2000 mustang cobra. "sick"!!!! (ICANTDR55)
i have a '98 dodge pickup with a 318, k&n, and flowmasters. while in town yesterday, i had some a_ _hole in a rustang maybe a '99 or '00, who kept trying to race me from light to light, in my pick-up. maybe he thought it would be an easy kill for him, but he was wrong, bad wrong. after a total of 3 intersection, of me spanking that a_ _ , and my wife knocking the fire out of me, i let him go on his way. he was some young punk, in rustang, who thought he was the cat's meow. not anymore. i am pretty sure on down the road he would have taken me, but from light to light, no way. i think all it was, was th v6 i couldn't tell for sure, i was trying to keept my wife off me and drive. i got a couple of good bruises today as a reminder of it!
