Default brake warning light

I still can't solve my ABS problem or the code 38 mass air flow burn off circuit. Wondering if they could both be related with the ECM?

After I put in a new master cylinder my ABS light came on.

So I took all the calipers off and cleaned the seals, pistons, bleeder screws. Made sure the pistons worked freely. Then I flushed the system with a pressure bleeder. it seemed to have resistance and the fluid did not squirt out but drip even with 10 lbs of pressure.
Now the ABS light is off but I have a softer pedal . When i roll 4 mph with the brake pedal depressed the system doesn't activate. The light may go on after driving a while to. If i skid a tire it doesn't activate the ABS either. Plus all the wheels feel like they are dragging and the wheels get wamr even with little braking like the pressure is not releasing after it is applied.

I noticed my brake warning light did not go on when i turn the key to the on position. If i ground the wire to the brake warning switch at the MC it goes on so the bulb is good. I plan to buy a new switch but not sure if that is the problem anyway. ( my brake warning switch plug is missing the electrical connector so it is wired with only one wire that a connector was soldered to it. Does anyone know what pin it connects to or does it matter?)

I am under the impression that the brake light switch also tells the ABS system to get ready to prepare for a possible anti lock activation every time you press the brake pedal down.

Is this switch for warning of a MC failure and also for all the time with the ECM and ABS?

Does this mean the ECM is connected to the ABS in some way and is not a totally seperate system?

I am also having a problem with code 38 being set even after replacing the mass air flow and relays. When i ground the relay it sends power to the mass air flow telling me the relays are good. The relays do not engage when everything is connected and the light sets.

I am wondering if the ECM has a problem with the ground circuit and could be causing the 38 code to set and also the ABS to not work because the ground cicuit for the ECM is not working for the brake light to? Would that light being out send a problem code to the ABS computer then set the ABS light?

Then I noticed when i disconnect the ECM for a while then put it back in and restart the car code 38 doesn't set and it runs great. The service engine light doesn't go on either. If i shut it off and restart the car the light goes back on. Then if i disconnect the ECM put it back in the service engine light is off until i restart it again.

Can this all be related to the ECM?
