I'm thinking of shimming my stock fuel pressure regulator with the old coin trick, for a bit more pressure (46 psi currently). I figure a nickel or dime under the cover will add a few psi. Or if all esle fails a Swedish Kronor, which is about as thick as a nickel and dime. Skoll!
I'm too cheap to spring for an adjustable regulator if I can do the same thing fwith a dime.
I do plan to raise the injector constant in my chip to compensate for the added pressure/flow. I'm seeing around 880 mv in third and 900 mv plus in 4th so the AF is in the ballpark, but my injectors are running static much of the time. I need more pressure, so I can knock down the duty cycle a bit and open up some more tuning options.
First, I gotta pick up an appropritate tool to pull the cover. The fasteners are a small torx head with a central pin. Looks to be about a T-8. Anyone know the size, before I go shopping?
Thanks
Update: Ok, they're called Security Torx bits and sears has a set that goes down to T-10, upon closer inspection, It looks like a T-10 on the regulator. I'll post back with my pressure vs. coins results.

If you don't want to go to Sears, you can knock that pin right out. I used a small screw driver to bend the pin over, then the other way, and it broke off nicely.
