Low Tire Pressure Warning Sensor?'s
Was wondering, if anyone here has ever had any issues concerning their LTPWS. I have a 96 that seems to have a ongoing problem. The dearlership told the former owner that the right rear sensor was bad so he bought a new sensor to sell the car and I replaced it, which seemed to solve the problem. Since then I have basically ran the car with different rims(for about 7 years) and have put the stock A molds back on again and I'm trying to sell the car. I am getting the same warning light and after driving a few miles, receive a low/flat tire light. I know this is a false signal since the tires are fine. This has been a very annoying problem as I am now trying to sell the car and that's the first thing people ask when they drive the vehicle(what are those lights for) So if anyone here has any opinions please let me know. To keep replacing the sensor doesn't seem to be the answer, thanks in advance.

Just my opinion, maybe a sensor was damaged when you put the stock wheels back on. Have you atempted to find out which sensor is bad. Just out of curiousity, how much pressure do you run in your tires.

I run 32 to 36psi and the sensors are on the inside of the tire, thanks anyway. I think max is 44psi, maybe I'll try 38 to 40 psi, could be the sensor's have a higher trip but then again with the other rims, I started getting the warning light and those rims don't have any sensors in them.
