If I were you I'd get a Z51 rack out of a 88-92

If I ordered the 88-92 17" wheel rack No. 16-16352 would that be the fast ratio or would I need to get the 86-87 16-306? If I need the 86-87 rack, would that be compatible with a 93?

The Delco part is 99.99% the slow rack. They stopped making the fast racks in 88. An 86-87 rack won't fit.

You cannot order a fast rack for a 93 from a dealer. They were gone years ago. If you want one to fit a 93 you have to order a rebuilt 89 Z-51, code NS rack.

Are you saying the 89Z rack is discontinued, but still available reman? These AC-D numbers are all reman.

If there's no fast ratio thru 92, then why are there two p/n's?

AC-D shows the p/n based on what applications they are direct replacement for, and not necessarily what years they'll actually fit. If their catalog is correct, it sounds like a 92 cutoff.

Either way, all 84-87 racks should fit 84-87, and all 88-96 racks fit 88-96.
