Default Which engine oil cooler should I use?

I want to put an engine oil cooler on my "90 Vette L-98. The one from TPIS is just a little "PRICEY" if you know what I mean!

What system are you using?
Where did you buy it from?
Approx. how much?
What's the part number(if possible)?
What is involved(Do I have to take the stock setup off-i.e water hoses)?
Any suggestions would be great!!!

I would like one that bolts onto the stock if possible.
Thanks Matt

I am installing one this evening and will report back after I test it out and give you an idea of how much cooler the oil is with the cooler that I selected.
It is supposed to be 90+ tomorrow and this should help me get some good numbers for you.

Well I am back from my test drive.
Before the oil cooler I was running a water temp of 167 to 174 and an oil temp of 240+. This is with the air temp being 70 or below.

After the oil cooler I am running a water temp of 174 and an oil temp of 196. The air temp is 87.
That is the drop that I was looking for.
I installed the cooler about 8 inches in front of the radiator. It is against the fiberglass air splitter.

I also used about 8 feet of copper tubing which did not come with the kit.

I had to use a different oil filter. The one that I am using is for a SBC 307cu.in.
My oil pressure dropped 8 psi and is holding steady at 62psi.

The price of the kit was $79.88 at Summit Racing.

Here is what I used.....

You can order that kit with an extra adaptor, if you wish to keep using the same filter that you currently have. Check with Summit about this.
I opted not to.
