had a thought the other day. i have an 88 vette with the factory alarm. as most of you know, when the alarm goes off, all you HEAR is the horn and SEE nothing.
is there a mod or a kit for a mod that would tie in the factory alarm to the parking and tail lights?...
i DO NOT want to purchase another alarm so that is not an option as all i was looking for was to modify the current stock alarm....thanks!

Sounds easy enough. You'd need to hook up the horn output signal to the low side of a relay which would power up the lighting circuit.
This will flash the lights without pulling any extra load on the alarm system, and will keep the circuits isolated. You'll need a hot 12V line to hook up to two terminals on the relay, so make damn sure it's fused and protected properly, and capable of powering the lights up.

Good point. Then you'd have to seperate the horn switch from the alarm output with a relay as well. This is the easy safe way to get 'one way' circuitry. The alarm output can drive the horn, but the horn button can drive the alarm output.
