Just got done talking with the previous owner of my vette (J-C-5) and I had forgotten, but he sent the computer off to a Performance place in Arkansas (can't remember the name), and had the fuel and spark curves optimized :D. Now I really need to have my vette redyno'ed after putting in the new optispark so I can see what it really does :D :D On the dyno graphs, the curves kept going up until it got to those few dips caused by the optispark.
Anyone know the name of this performance place that did the computer? I know Ed Wright does it here in Oklahoma, but can't remember the name of the Arkansas company.
Re: My vette has the computer reprogrammed! :D (Sarkee)
Yes, it is like buying an aftermarket chip for your vette, however an aftermarket chip for my year ('94+) doesn't exist, and it costs around $350 bucks to have it done, so that's why I'm happy it has already been done! I'm not saying I'm going to get a whole lot from it. Probably just a few ponies. But at least now I know that it has been programmed. I was thinking about taking the vette up to Ed Wright and doing a chassie dyno and program for $500. Now I know that at least I'm started on the programming. I'm waiting to do the Ed Wright dyno tune for after a rebuild when I go with a bad assss cam, headers, and lots of other goodies.

Oh, I know that having software for myself is the best option.. but if you get what I'm saying, I'm glad it is already done to the car, instead of me spending the money to do it. The guy I bought it from is J-C-5, he's a mechanic, i'm sure he had specific settings he told them to do. He knows a ton about cars.
In the future I would like to buy LT1-edit, and do it myself, but right now that money is spent elsewhere.

Actually I did some searching and it is not Absolute Performance, it is Street and Performance. Their website is http://www.tunedport.com/ Absolute Performance is the guys that do the blower cars in Arkansas.
