I put a set (from MA) on my 77 & really like it. When wife's 86 needs pipes, i'll get them again if available.
Could be the same supplier?

I have true dual piping on my car but i took it off to run open headers. True dual makes the car louder and better acceleration, I saw a slight increase maybe 5-10% in gas mileage whether its because of the new pipes I have no idea but they were very clogged. If you do get true dual go ahead and gut out the converter if you dont have a smog check. If you still want more sound you can run straight headers like me

It's aluminized steel so it should provide a good long life. Not as good as stainless obviously but not nearly the price either. I think these look like good systems for the money.

I have the similar system in ss from Mid America, which I later adapted to my long tube headers and then added a magnaflow true-x pipe. The pipes aren't the best but they're ok for the price.

If you go with one of these systems, consider adding a 2 1/4" magnaflow true-x pipe which are available for around $75. It should fit with some minor tweaking of the center distance.

I bought that exact system and installed it on my 85.

See my website for pics.

Nice fit and good quality.

Yep, that is the set of pipes I've been looking at as well. I think the H pipe in the center will help resonance, and balance the system. Of course anything can beat my stock 88 exhaust. However I do have frowmasters on it. Man, the precats, and main cat are almost rusted away. A set of 2.25" pipes, and flowmasters should give me a horsepower increase, I'm thinking around maybe 20. Of course I am playing with my intake, and valve train to flow the extra air for the pipes to evacuate. I'm hoping for the best. When you get yours done let me know. I am very interested... Thanks...
