I have SW LT headers and a Corsa cat back system patiently waiting in my garage to be installed into my '95 coupe. (Good thing they're patient, 'cause I'm not!) Now I need to get together the odds and ends I'll need before I start the project.
I'm thinking of going with Fel-pro gaskets (not set in stone, though) so I did a forum search and saw a lot of posts regarding the Fel-pro 1406 and the LT1. But I didn't find any comments at all about the 1470 (Summit, Jegs, etc. list the Fel-pro 1470 as LT1/LT4 specific.) Both are D-port, steel core laminate but the 1406 have a larger port size. So which is it for stock LT1 heads? Or is there something better out there all together?
I've also seen a few comments about Breslin header bolts. Kinda pricey, but are they worth it? Anyone out there using them have any comments?
