1991 coupe brake rotor problem

1991 coupe brake rotor problem
I replaced my brake rotors and pads today..... and bled the lines.
Problem is that the rear rotors are different than the front, and Napa sent me four identical (deep) rotors. After I was done, the rear wheels were locked down because the bolts that hold the calipers were seated against the rotors. The old rears are shallower than the front rotors.
Is this typical for the standard brake option. or did a provious owner change something?
I'll be back at Napa tomorrow.. to order the shallow rotors
