Need help with 89'
I have a 1989 automatic coupe that is falling on it's face. If I accelerate in a normal manner from a stop I have to feather the throttle or it will cut out. If I nail the throttle from a stop it runs ok. I can also be driving down the interstate and if I come to an incline it will start falling again and I need to play with the throttle to get it to come out of it. Once again if I really get into it no hesistation. No codes thrown. Tried a search on hesitation but most have to do with the engine being cold but working ok when warm. My problem is all the time.
Has been acting this way for awhile and I have replaced the plugs, wires, rotor, cap, checked timing. Fuel pressure looks good at idle and does not bleed off when shut off.
Thanks in advance to your help.
