I've been seeing a lot of this term lately and have no clue what it is. LOL. :lol: :lol: Would someone be so kind as to fill me in? :D

L98 is the Vette TPI motor used from '85-'91 and was replaced by your LT1. Hope this helps

L98, LT1, LT4, LS1, etc. are all codes used to designate a version of the Chevy V8.
