Default Driver's Mirror Wobble
My drivers electric mirror on my '85 wobbles. I checked the screws, all tight. Checked the trunnion, not broken. It appears to be slop in the left / right tilt drive.

Anyone had one of these apart? Is there something inside the drive I can fix if I pull it apart? Can I use a later mirror and retrofit connectors?

there is a simple fix for this......check your pm's.....i'll send it to you....

I put a piece of adhesive backed foam behind the mirror, that fixed it.
