Default Reverse Lock Out ?

Does anybody know how to get rid of the reverse lock out on a 94 6 speed vert. I was told I could use the B&M shifter from a 95 or 96. Is this correct? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

the hurst shifter also removes the ring/reverse lockout feature. there are several posts about hurst vs. b & m if you do a search. its comes down to a matter of preference between the two. these are the most common aftermarket C4 shifters, or so it seems here on the CF.

I'm using the B&M. No real problems. The shifter does have a slight rattle that can be fixed. It's a pretty stiff shift too, but very short. I was confirming my B&M got rid of the reverse lockout.
