I've had a small leak that's now getting bigger, it's not from the OD unit but looks like gear lube from the actual 4 speed. I've changed the fluids regularly (every couple years) and the car ever since I've had it has always leaked a little out of the 4 speed but now looks to be getting worse. Anybody give me something to look for?
Thanks
Look around the shift arms, and in the side cover of the T-10 trans. These are typical leak prone areas. Either way, the trans will have to come out to be re-sealed, but it is not too bad of a job. Get the correct seals and do the job right, or it will be leaking again shortly.

Mine leaked where the counter shaft presses into the case in front, and would run down the bellhousing.
The gear switches on the side cover usually leak, I just reseal them with RTV. I think some of these gear switches can leak internally too, which would require replacing them if that's the case.
Just a regular 85W no Synthetic - I looked at it this afternoon and found the bolts that hold the 2 units together were'nt very tight.
I'll see what the torque on those is suppose to be tomorrow
Things that rarely happen... the countershaft bore leaking, switches leaking. Shifter shafts seem to leak often, mostly when driven.
Take note if it leaks NOT RUNNING. Since oil levels are lower then the shifter shafts and switches.
Big problem, center lower rear bolt that attaches trans to od unit cracks mid plate and oil pisses around gasket. I started noticing this problem because this is the flex point for the whole assembly and the thinnest point of the casting. This requires pulling off the OD unit and filling the inner cavity with sealant. I did this during most builds as a preventative measure in case it cracked later on.
