Just got the car back on the ground Wed. nite after replacing the rt. axle yoke. Had to drop the exhaust to get at all the axle stuff, but everything went back together just fine and the car drives better than it ever did before. (Just got it about 4mo. ago). Not only does it drive and handle excelent now and seems tighter and quieter, but the bonus is, I really think the engine runs better & smoother. I think the exhaust went back together tighter or aligned better than it was before because it even sounds better/smoother. Maybe it's just fresh fix euphoria, but it really feels more responsive to the throttle and the little instant mileage thing on the dash seems to be showing higher mileage readings than it did before. Butt.. yesterday the service engine soon light came on, so I go by Autozone and plug in a code reader. Pulled a code P 0140 Bank one sensor 2. Read all the posts I could find here on that code and I guess I either have a poor connection or the sensor is going bad. Have any of you ever ohm'd out the sensors to check wiring continituity to them. What kind of reading can I expect or can they even be dependabily read with a digital ohm meter? The failure so soon after I've handled the plugs makes me think a damaged connector or broken wire. The car runs great though. What gives with that? (P.S.it's a 96LT4)

 

I would be sure the wiring is good. If the connection isn't perfect, or tight enough, it will throw a code.
