Default Handling problem after lowering

I lowered my 87 and installed adjustable strut rods and replaced rear bushings and now it feels like the rear end is on ice at the slightest touch of the wheel. I adjusted the height and camber every which way with little improvement. Could the toe be the prblem? I had planned on getting it aligned but wanted to see if anyone had a similar problem. Input please.

My vote is that there is unusual toe, probably in the 'toe out'
direction, if suspension changes have been made and the
alignment has not been checked/adjusted afterward.

Toe out at the rear will create a rear-steer action - as weight transfers,
the loaded tire can overpower the now less-loaded tire and the rear
begins to track a larger dia arc. Feels darty in a straight line as road
changes wag the back.

Tires will really wear faster, probably more pronounced on the inward
tread if/since there is negative camber.

I agree the toe is the probable problem. If you used poly bushings on the trailing arms and camber struts be aware they will bind up the suspension when new or if not installed correctly. I've experienced this problem on every C4 I've built. It takes a few hundred miles before they start to wear themselves in. FWIW.

Yes I installed energy suspension bushings. Thanks for all the input. I'll get the alignment and update afterwoods.

Thanks mike
