Check Engine light help
Never had this on my vet (96, 50K). Where do I start?
I think I'll order the reader kit but meanwhile I briefly scanned the shop manuals last night and don't see any reference to getting the codes displayed on the dash or elsewhere. I'm a bit surprised at this.
My old Dodge displayed the codes via blinking lights when you turned the ignition key on/off 5 times fast.
