Default A little shudder

I've noticed the car has a little shudder depending on the road surface. It's not very much but enough to notice. I was coming off the freeway after cruising 70-75 mph for about a 50-mile drive and when I hit the ramp it really surprised me. Thinking maybe an alignment is in order.

Any one know what might cause this and is it a common problem?

Common problem especially for a conv . I had the same problem with my conv , so i bought a hardtop made all the difference . You should also check your balljoints , wheel bearings , alignment . and also your rack and pinion .In other words check your whole front end . Good Luck

If it's a shudder that comes and goes it's probably worn front end parts. If it is a continual light shaking or shimmy, it could be lots of things. Have the simple things checked first ie: wheel balance, wheel/tire runout, loose front end parts, etc. Alignment being off alone doesn't usually cause a "shudder".
