84 Electrical ? Head light warning alarm with engine running
Took the 84 out tonight and everything was pretty good until I turned the headlights on. The warning alarm that would normally sound when you leave the lights on and shut off the engine goes all the time. (at least with the engine running and the headlights on) My wiring diagrams do not show this part of the circuit. Is it a connector that is not hooked up or am I going for a more traditional open somewhere in the circuit. I can only assume that I am not the only one that this has ever happened to. I don't have my 84 wiring diagram here at work with me and my computer is down at home but I would suspect you are loosing ignition pewer to the alarm module or have a problem with the module check all your fuses first there may be a blown fuse it does sound like something I have come across before in the past but with out my wiring diagram I just can't remember wihch fuse.
