Default tinted glass

I was thinking of buying the pre-cut window tint from ecklers, that is magnetic, and easy to install for the roof and rear window! If anyone has this on their cars, please tell me if you are happy with it or if you have any problems using it. The shop here in town wants $120 for both in LIMO dark........ Good Price or not........Thanks

I paid around $120 5 years ago for the side windows and rear window. So your quote doesn't seem that far off. If it comes with a warranty I'd say that it's a good deal. Let someone else do the work.

Amen.
Let someone else do it that does it all the time. Do you want bubbles in it?

I would let the local tint shop do the work. Most window tint shops offer from the manufacture a Lifetime Warranty! Which means you'll be able to take it anywhere if it bubbles or peels!

I had the tint shop do mine and it's perfect!!! Gosh I love my Vette!

Thanks, Matt

Actually it's yellow primer with black spray paint. The black is sort of a marker that you can put on there to know how good of a job you're doing while sanding away primer.

$120 is a STEAL if it's done right! That rear curved window is a real PIA! It took my installer 2 times to get it right and he's been doin it approx 11 years. Slip em the extra $$ for limo

I just had to "sweat" my rear tint off, it was starting to peel a little. Very tough job. Really took a long time to get it all off. Just doesn't look right without that tint.... I will be going back in for a re-tint soon.
