Default Backfiring ? any ideas?
When i get on it, it backfires frm the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. I thought it was opti, replaced and nope, have decided it may be tuning

any other ideas?


92 auto
new opti, custom tuning by division of CompCams


LT headers, borla muffs
Ported heads, big cam, 1.6rr, 3.73s

cats still there?

otherwise, I would be looking for an exhaust leak.

no cats, no exhaust leak, egr stuff completely gutted...

only happens on 1-2 and 2-3 shift

thats when the rpms are the highest....they adjsuted the rev limiter (or was suppose too)...dont feel like im hittin it..
