Chip Location
My scanner is telling me to replace my chip in my 1988. I have the chip but am not sure where the module is and how to access it and my manuals do not seem to make it clear for me.
Can someone give me a clue.

What exactly is the scanner showing that is leading you to this conclusion? (Just curious since it is rare that the ECM and/or PROM chip malfunctions).
