Mixed up Antifreeze dilema?

Could it be from mixed pink and green coolants and how do I get it out of the block?
Thanks for any suggestions, Tom
OMG that is ugly looks like someone tossed a roll of toilet paper in there
.I can't tell you for sure other than a professional flush of the system. Here is a bump for ya though
.Whats the consistency? Is it like jello or like gum?
Regardless, that is fugly! I agree with a thorough system flush.

According to Havoline, you CAN mix Dexcool with green antifreeze without any problems(They have a text file on their website stating this), and having had the DEATHcool gummi bear problem with my Blazer, I can tell you it didn't look anything like that. The Dexcool just turned into sludge, it never hardened.

Firstly, my vote is that if you aren't already - start wearing nitrile gloves.
Collect the bits and test them in samples of potential flushing agents.
See if anything not harmful to the cooling system will break down the
residue after a 24 hr soaking.
If you don't find something that will break it down, I don't believe a
flush is going to do the job. There's the potential that stuff is
obstructing passages in the heads and block, not to mention the
heater core, radiator oil cooler (if fitted) and all associated plumbing.
If it is hard/solid - I am thinking a worst case scenario is disassembly
and sonic treatment. Followed by a conventional tanking.

I'm hoping for the 24hr soak (worse case)
Good Luck!
