Default engine swap. wtf

Wow.. I must say. I'm impressed. I think GM went out of their way on this one. I've yanked L98's out of fbody's in a matter of 2 hours.. It took me about 4 1/2 just to get my L98 in the vette unbolted. Theres brackets, connections, and outright weird stuff i've never seen before. Everything is just over complicated, and a plumbing nightmare. Perhaps GM over-engineered the corvette, but I think they just over-complicated it. wtf.

/rant off.

But look how easy it is to get into the engine bay.
No leaning over the fenders like on a F body.

All I know is that it is easier getting at the rear plugs on my header equiped Vette than my buddies similar equiped Camaro.

I'm sure it's true w/out the air injection, A/C, etc. the stock TPI setup has those weird hard metal vac lines bolted down, and other strange brackets. Theres a vac solenoid too that I think goes to the charcoal canister, which i've never seen on an fbody. weirdness.

Nicer cars by far. Harder to work on when stock though.. Prolly be easier with the miniram.
