I jusrt picked up a set of Z06 five spoke wheels and Goodyear F1's. My question is: How will this affect my LTPWS? Can the sensors be switched over to the new wheels? The new rears are 18-inches.
Thanks, sorry for the dumb question but I've only owned the car for two weeks and I'm new to corvettes.
From what I have read the sensors are just stuck on and can be changed from rim to rim. They are also wheel position specific, meaning the lr has to go back on lr, rr to rr, etc.

You might have to get new metal bands, but not positive. I had a tire shop cut one of my bands one time because they didn't know what it was.
As it is the indicator light usually comes on after a few miles and then shuts off again after a few more miles.
Funny thing is the first time my wife saw it she asked me what LTPWS means. When I told her and she said "Why doesn't it just say Check Tires. Good question.
