Default Loud vibration from fuel pump....

Alright, the gremlins are now out in full force. I'm getting a very strong (and loud) vibration apparently from the fuel pump and can hear it running down the fuel line and the passenger side of the car. The pump is a new Walbro 225lph unit. Anyone have any experience with something similar? Could there be too much/too little pressure in the fuel lines or is this pump shot?

I pulled the pump after the first time I head the noise and everything appeared to be fine, and it ran fine after I re-installed it.

I'm at a loss and don't have much experience in this area.

Thanks in advance....

Default did you use the new noise insulator

the new pump should of come with 2 noise insulators ,its a black rubber jacket that goes around the pump and another one that goes between the pump and the strainer ,even if your factory pump never had the one that goes around the pump ,use the one that came in the new pump,it cuts down big time on the noise ,

I re-used the black insulator that was around the stock pump. This pump only intermitantly makes this loud noise. I was concerned that perhaps the pump was going bad. It is strong enought that I can hear it under the fuel filter as well. I let the pump prime this morning, and I clearly heard it again. Is this something that I don't need to be concerned about?

Default I Think You Should Change It

THEY SAY WHEN A PUMP STARTS TO GET LOUD ITS STARTING TO GO ,BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY CHANGING YOUR FUEL FILTER ,IT MIGHT HAVE A LOT OF JUNK IN IT AND THE PUMP WORKS HARDER ,AND ANY TIME YOU CHANGE THE PUMP YOU SHOULD BACK FLUSH OUT YOUR FUEL LINES WITH COMPRESSED AIR ,YOU TAKE THE FUEL LINE OFF THE FUEL RAIL AND DO IT ,YOU WONT BELIEVE ALL THE CRAP THAT COMES OUT ,MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE FILTER AND FLUSH FROM THERE TO ,THEN PUT IN A FRESH FILTER AND SEE IF THAT WORKS,BUT I THINK THAT PUMP IS HALF DEAD SO YOU SHOULD JUST FLUSH OUT THE LINES PUT IN A NEW PUMP ,WITH A NEW FILTER ,AND HEAR THE ENGINE ROAR NOT THE FUEL PUMP ,

I was concerned that the pump may be going. I just changed the filter, but I didn't flush the lines...something that I probably should do....
