Default What intake to get?

I noticed this weekend that the plastic air duct that holds the air filter and connects to the air intake duct is cracked and splitting at the top. This obviously isn't helping air get to the throttle body. So what should I replace it with? I am considering stock air duct, BPP Vortex Rammer, Increased Flow Housing with cut Radiator Shroud, or the Triple Air Intake system. Does anyone have coments on any of these systems?

There has been a tremendous amount of discussion on air intakes. Try searching through some prior posts for good info. BTW, there is a group purchase going on for the SLP intake (the triple air intake in MAD).

While BPP has many satisified customers, I was one of several Forum members who had problems with their C4 Vortex unit. So I returned the Vortex and just installed the increased air flow housing with K&N filter. I am happy with it so far...

I have looked for the group purchase for the SLP product in the C4 group purchases but cannot find it. Can anyone post a link? Also, I understand that the BPP Unit does not include the Vortex stack for the C4. Does this take away much in functionality? If it is an essential part of the product then I wouldn't want to buy one that didn't have it included, especially since they still charge the same price.

it is not an "official" group purchase since Performanceparts outlet is not a forum sponser yet. look back up to 5 pages or look in the general discusion there is a current post from some of the other guys who went in on the GP. the cost is $190+ shipping 203 was my total I believe sorry I don't have the link. hope this helps :seeya
