Default 95 Vert needs power

I just recently purchased a 95 auto Vert for my wife. I am not familer with LT1's. I am looking for bolt-on's that will get this car into the mid 13's in the 1/4.

I have owned a few Ls1 cars and know a little about them.

I just want mild bolt-on's that work. You know bang for the buck.

For those that drag what should an auto Vert run in the 1/4? Stock with NO mods. It only has 30K miles.

Thanks,

You should be mid 13's in the 1/4 mile stock unless you're in Denver.

But to improve on that by almost a second, do what I did, get a 2800 stall torgue converter and some rear gears, either 3.45 or 3.73's.

I got down to a 12.50@108 with tha setup whcih also included a Corsa Catback, some Weld wheels with drag radials, a trans cooler and that's pretty much it.

With an auto the gears are the trick!!! If it has GM1 on the rpo list you are running 2.59s, 3.45 is good strip or street combo.

I did not think the car felt that fast. I also have an 02 Z06 so maybe I am just off.

To think of it though I had an auto 98 Trans-am that felt about the same and it ran 13.6. I am taking it to the track to try it out. I will post times.
