Remove the screws for the side trim and rear package tray. Remove the rear package tray. I don't recall if the inner side trim needs to be removed also. This is the trim the shade slides on. You may not have to if you can get access to the end of the shade. Using a large flat screwdriver or other suitable tool like a narrow gasket scraper, insert the tool between the very end of the shade and the bracket that is part of the car. Using both hands on the tool, one on the handle and one on the shank, push the tool so the end of the shade moves inward toward the center of the car about an inch. Try not to pry or twist the tool, the bracket is made of plastic or fiberglass that is a molded part. Move the end of the shade toward the front of the car , it should disengage from the bracket. The shade should be rolled up before removing it.
