Ok so I'm doing a LT1 swap into my '86 RX-7. I'll be putting a built T-56 behind it. I'm wanting to build a 396TT setup and make around 750 rwhp. I should have the room in the engine bay for the turbos so that shouldn't be a problem. What kind of internals receipe should I use? Just wondering about cam, EMS, Heads, and things of that nature. Let me know what you guys think.

I would stay away from the 396. You can use a 355 or 383 and make the 750rwhp without the additional headaches of the 396. If you are planning on going aftermarket heads, AFR's to be specific, then you could do it correctly. Try and shoot for a 8.5:1 compression and get yourself a set of 60-1 compressors or bigger and you should be good to go.
Alot of guys around here are going with the Accel Gen 7 setup for fuel management.
You do realize that this is going to be a $10-15K budget increase from just adding an LT1 to the RX7
yea I was figuring that. I can pick up a stock LT1 block from a '96 vette for $200 so I'm happy. I know how to build engines and got sweet hookups at the local machine shop. I'm figuring on top of what I was already figuring(LT1/T-56, heads, cam, 100shot) to add another 8500. I had 4000 laid out for what I originally started with but I want 750rwhp and want it done right.
get an eagle rotating assembly for a 355 with an internally balanced crank and JE pistons.. camshaft around 218/218 .580 .580 on a 114-116 depending on how smooth ya want the part throttle and idle go higher for better or lower for a little more power.
grab a set of trickflow heads complete. I run the 1074 felpros.. some like them some don't so far for about 1000 miles and a peak of 22.4 pounds of boost they have held up great but it is still soon to tell and that was with 110 octane leaded and low IAT's and NO detonation.
make sure your fuel system is up to snuff.. for that kind of power you need to be able to deliver about 550-650 pounds per hour reliably through un restricted line sizes and some good sized 72-83 pound injectors. aftermarket engine management at that range is a good idea.. BS3, DFI Gen 7, or FAST XFI.. depends on who you have locally to help with.. BS3 is probably the best.. I use the Gen 7 and like it.
other then that.. shoot for about 8.7 SCR, and soem mild porting of the heads and major porting of the intake manifold.. a 58mm TB.. and all the other things needed to make a turbo system work..
Well I like the Gen 7 EMS. I'll be doing my own tuning as I don't trust any of the local shops around here. I've done tuning before just never with this program. My tuning extent consists of stuff for Supras
