clogged cat.

How can i se if mine are?
How should it look? And how should it NOT look inside the cat?

I think this is best done by an exhaust shop, they should be able to measure backpressure.

I don't think a visual inspection is the best method.

Do a search on the topic. There was a thread that answered your Q last week.

Vacuum guage at idle, equal to, or more than vacuum guage at 3K rpm.

I just had my car checked for clogged cats. My car seemed to be a bit down on performance and I thought this might be the culprit. Anyway, I called every muffler place in town and no one would do an exhaust backpressure test. I ended up taking my car to the Chevy dealership to have it tested. The results were good (.5 psi) and that showed my cats were not clogged.

Why do you think your cats might be clogged?
