I bought my Vette a little under a year ago. The previous owner put a comp cam, roller rockers, and new springs in about a year before I bought the car but he lost all the documentation on the install. I just took my valve covers off and I see that the roller rockers are Comp 1.52
and the springs have a red painted stripe down them. My questions is ...Is there anywhere that I can find what this red stripe is and the rating on the springs are. I was going to replace the springs with LT-4 ones but these look like they are brand new. The entire red stipe is still on them.
Yeah already tried Comp Cams. I got a cam Tech named Brian that made me feel like I was wasting his time by asking. According to him they dont have any X-reference for the stripes on the springs. I will taking the heads off so removing the springs wont be that big of deal I just though someone might know.
