How much for a timing chain replacement?

How much for a timing chain replacement?

I got an estimate on a timing chain replacement of $300, Double roller.
90 L98 does this seem reasonable?
The guy seems very reasonable and his mechanic is very knowledgable.

And oh yes, after 2 months of not working he got my vette going. So I am very happy to be driving the vette again.

That's a good price for all that is involved with a timing chain on our cars. Having done a few over tha last few years I would charge more than that.

OK, thanks for the reply. I normally like to do things myself but have no idea how to do this, I wanted to see if this was a good price. He seems like a stand up type of guy, Im glad somebody can confirm the price, thanks.

I agree, good price. I would expect a quote over $500 after doing it myself.
