Default McLeod Street Twin Install

I have a 409 CI with a 400 crank, external balance.

I am looking at a used McLeod Street Twin and it does not have the McLeod Master, but it does have a new PIVOT STUD.

What are my odds of this thing fitting? Also, the external balance 400 crank shaft weight that goes on it, anybody use this?

What about the Pivot Stud, is this gonna be all I need and does this circumvent the need for the McLeod master?

I don't need another debug project and I am leery at this point. I have called Thunder Racing and Merle has called me back but we have yet to connect, plus I don't know if he knows what the deal is or if he just calls Red at McLeod's.

Any thoughts?

I have a McLeod dual disc with just the machined pivot ball... and it works fine. I also have their adjustable master cylinder in case I would have had problems, but was able to use the stock clutch master with the machined pivot ball. You should be fine.
Edit: the pivot ball is machined .050"
