when i heard rumors of the prices going up and the discontinuance of r-12, i stocked up. stocked up on 134 also and last year, bought another recycle/reclaim machine.
I remember years ago (1987) when I used to work for K-mart in the automotive section that stuff was selling for $.49. I blew my money on all sorts of stupid stuff when I was in high school and should have invested heavily into freon for that price.
.........i can relate!...as soon as a friend of mine saw the prices starting to fluxuate, we went on a buying binge.........in addition, i only have 60lbs of r-134 and 120lbs of r-22 (from residential ac units)......recently bought a guage set or two along with a reclaim/recycle machine......i think i am set now for life........(i hope).....
