A few misc items
I won a few bux of the local lottery scratch-off's so,I thot I would blow a few to try some stuff.
The Throttle Body intake hose on my 85 was really bad looking,so I bought one of the " Performance Couplers" that you see on some sites.The smooth hose really looks great and I think I get a small perf boost.My old one had a couple of small cracks in the pleats that I didn't see till it was off.$50.
I run the "Water-Wetter" stuff in my 96 GST turbo and it helps that car,so for $7,i bought some for my 85.Seems to run about 2-3 deg cooler and doesn't overflow after a spirited drive.The before & after was done on two diff 90 deg Carolina days.
Both seem to be worth the price.
On the interior,my visors were shot,so I took them off.Seems I have more forward vison space.Also,my rear-view mirror had some black spots,so I bought one of the clip-on 10in convex mirrors.WOW!! NO more blind spots.$8.
For less than $75,I made some small improvements that allow me to enjoy the old car even more.
Just wanted to pass this along.
