ASR Malfunctioning
When I drive up a very steep hill in my 95, the asr engages as if my tires are slipping and it trys to correct this. I am not losing traction and i dont have to accelerate hard for this to happen. Is this somehow adjustable? It just seems to be oversensitive.

Are you hitting any bumps also? Anytime the front wheels start turning slower than the front by about 10% the ASR will start to do it's thing. Try again next time with it turned off and see if you are correct that the rear wheels are not slipping a little, you would be supprised just how fast that ASR can respond to wheel slip you may not even feel it start to slip and it will start to work.
