2 question about gears... ( again??? )
From 2.59 to 3.73 on a l98 auto, its the ony 2 options my friend have ( beacuse of lack of parts ). Is it worth it?? its NOT a regular driver! And gas isent a probleme.

Call Summit Racing (summitracing.com) for best price on Richmond 3.75 (not 3.73 which is OEM) gear set for the smaller 2.59 carrier. They also ship worldwide. Only use the install kit with Timken bearings; the rest is junk. If your diff has more than 100k miles on it plan on replacing the side yokes and side bearings. 18carfan (Jeff Kopp) has the yokes for about $70 each and it is a dealer only option. He will also have speedo gears OEM for 3.73 which is close enough for about $27. I recommend rebuilding with synthetic gear lube Mobil 1 or Valvoline this go around.
Oh yeah, it is DEFINITELY worth it :D
