I am interested to get some opinions on whether I have a bad switch or a motor that is going. On most days, all is well, however-seemingly as soon as it rains, my motor only works on high. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you.

Reason: correction
Unless you have rain water entering the switch, then the change on a rainy day has got to be at the wiper motor. A few years ago, my son had a beater with wipers that stopped working about 5 minutes after it started raining. A mechanic friend of mine gave me a can of silicone spray and told me to douse the wiper motor every couple of weeks to keep things going. It worked. I'm not suggesting that this is the way to "fix" your problem, but it could help you isolate the cause.
The FSM has a troubleshooting guide for the wipers. It is not very conclusive. I replaced my switch twice based on the results of the testing. Finally, I just decided to replace the motor and the timer module. All is well since. (Psst .... The switch is not expensive, and it is a lot easier to replace than the motor.)
