Purchased new AC Delco from the Last Detail last week for $159 and change plus shipping - I think $23.00 - so the price you got was competitive. My unit came complete with a new low coolant sensor and drain petcock which I thought was a nice touch. New Mid America catalog came today. They list the radiator at $259.99 - must be something really special about theirs for a hundred bucks more! Make sure you get a new cap while your at it. Unfortunately, GM (and no aftermarker vendor that I've found) makes the 15lb cap called for in the original specs.

I picked up a new Modine lifetime radiator for my 84 about 3 years ago and it was about $160.00, so that price is inline.

$98.10  very good price
Please post on how you replace the lower radiator hose
Since I am going to change the water pump and timing chain anyway, so I'll wait until that time to do the work. Lower hose look like a lot of thing have to be off to go to :mad

I f you are removeing the water pump you should have no problem accessing the lower radiator hose, the end that is attached to the water pump looks like a total bitch to me, radiator side took 2 minutes, do the same as I am doing all hoses that you can get to in that area replace them while you are there, my 89 looks like all hoses in this area are origional, if you want give me a call Sat late and I will tell you any tricks I learned while working in this area (623)572-7123
