Default Question on computer code

I have a 86 C4 and am getting a computer code 36. This paticular # is not in my repair manual. Does anyone know waht this code is refering to?

Mass Air Flow sensor Burn-off funtion fault.

It is referring you to a new manual, like the single year, FSM, which has all the codes for YOUR car and the trouble shooting charts that will save you money diagnosing the cure...the first time. Remember. "Don't shoot the messenger".

Replace the MAF relays behind the battery on the firewall, see what comes back.

There is a Burn-off and Power relay for the MAF. The FSM as stated above will keep you from wasting money on good parts and will lead you down to the real culprit.
