Just curious, could one bad injector cause the car to loose 20# or so in about a minute, or is this indicative of something else?
Also, when I put a test light on the injector, when the key is on, the light is already on without the car even being cranked over, the light goes from bright to dim as the car is cranked, but is always on.
Any idea's?
I assume you mean that you loose 20# in 1 minute after your shut off the engine? Pull the spark plug from the associated cylindar and see if it is soaked with fuel. If your injector is free flowing, your spark plug will let you know.......
Actually yes, 20 psi in one minute or less. I have only pulled one plug so far and was dry, there is not a rich smell or gassy smell really at the exhaust from cranking. I did pull the vacuum line at the fpr to see if it was wet at all and wasn't, sound like the check valve in the pump maybe and possibly faulty pump? Does the pump run off the same wire that the relay feeds the pump with, or is it a second of the 3 wires? My understanding that the brown or tan is from the relay for priming, should another wire @ the pump be hot when in the run position?
