Default Plugs, wires ect....

I plan on tuning up my 89 in the next week or so and hoped some of you guys could recommend the best components for my all stock L-98 (except for the K/N AF which I put in shortly after buying this C4 in the spring).. I am looking for more power and hoped a good tune up will help plus I plan on changing my exhaust in the spring which should also help... Also would changing computer chip help??
PS: Recommendation on the best place to buy these items would be appreciated

A nice combo for a tune up is HyperTech coil/cap/rotor combo, MSD SuperConcductor, Taylor or TPIS wires and AC Delco plugs with the ground electrode cut back to the near edge of the center electrode. Summit Racing often has the best prices on all but the TPIS stuff.

This will assure a hot spark to well over 5k RPM, and a cleaner burn. The net result will be about 10 HP gain.

I haven't done a chip yet, though I just bought a used HyperTech Stage II for an '87 auto Vette on e-bay for $45. I have some other things to do but will post result from the chip.
